God's answer to Paul's pain was "No." (And why that brings me peace). 🩹

Going into this week carrying a lot of heavy burdens. I was reading 2 Corinthians 12 about Paul’s "thorn in the flesh." Paul, the guy who raised the dead and healed the sick, had a chronic, agonizing issue. He begged God three times to take it away. And God’s answer was basically, "No. My grace is enough for you, because my power is made perfect in weakness." God didn't remove the pain; He changed the purpose of it. If you are praying for a miracle and hearing silence right now, maybe God isn't ignoring you. Maybe He is trusting you with a thorn to display His strength through your survival. I praise god everyday cause he’s healing me and making me stronger as the days go by, mental health is no fun and being on medication makes it worst so i asked him for healing with his power to make me whole again and he is doing just that working his miracles in my brain i thank you Jesus i believe in you my faith carries me stronger each day … you are merciful and i love you . I needed to read this just now I’m in unbearable pain in my back from doing too much. I have cages and screws and very bad pain. I asked God to heal me and remove this PAIN, but his answer is no for now. Doesn’t mean he won’t perform a miracle cause he’s done it before and I know he can do it again. I thank him cause the pain draws me close to him.😆🙏🏼💕🌸

I remember having surgery on my leg the pain was so intense that I begged God for mercy After reading this I can understand why God did what He did.

I prayed to God this past Sunday . I asked him to take my pain away completely . I kept giving him the glory in spite of my pain because he's in control of everything .I have been in bed for 3 days because of my Sciatica Nerve damage makes it hard to walk. Today might not be the day that God reveal me from this bondage but I will continue to give him praise
